Here at Hi-Tech Chiropractic, we complete a biomechanical analysis of spine kinematics (or spinal motion), utilizing “stress views” of the spine (flexion, extension, rotation, and/or lateral bending views.) Videofluoroscopy (“motion x-ray”) is used to determine the loss of spinal function, which is at the core of the “vertebral subluxation complex”.
In addition to the motion x-ray, our staff will also take a minimum of 5 standard X-rays so that Dr. Charles can better understand what is going on with your spine.
- X-rays allow chiropractors to clearly visualize the spine’s bony structures, joints, and surrounding tissues, providing insights into alignment, function, and potential abnormalities.
- They can help identify spinal deformities, fractures, or other abnormalities that might be contributing to pain or dysfunction.
- X-rays can detect conditions like arthritis, fractures, osteoporosis, and congenital disabilities, providing valuable insights into the patient’s skeletal structure and integrity.
- They can help identify the exact location of spinal subluxations (misalignments).
- X-rays can reveal the extent of disc degeneration, allowing for a more targeted care plan.
